Image Information: The Pelican Nebula (IC 5070) is part of a large star forming region with large dust clouds obscuring portions of bright ionized gas. The entire nebula is over 30 light years in size and about 2,000 light years away.
Processing Comments: Image processing involved blending the Red and H-alpha into a "Red Prime" image. LRGB assembled in Maxim DL (30% Luminance). Processing including multiple Luminance overlays in PhotoShop CS/2.
